Over 115 successful social video campaigns run for over 71 brands on behalf of over 21 ad agencies. I experienced fast paced growth in this "Global Platform for Social Video Advertising" especially in operations where I helped the pace of growth by implementing recruitment processes, technology improvements, streamlined operations process', team development and training as well as 8 new hires. I'm Unruly's in-house YouTube "expert" providing regular updates of changes to the company as well as consulting best practices internally and externally. I regularly do investigations into view generation and provide clients with reports into their YouTube activity. As a senior campaign manager my role includes being the pillar of knowledge for everything advertising internally and externally which suits my personality, as I'm a believer in spreading the wealth when it comes to knowledge and regularly keep my eye on new developments in the advertising industry. I've developed many new practices including an overhaul of the operations department's structure in terms of how we effectively work together to ensure the best outcomes for our clients, a global reward and recognition scheme that's scalable and fair for emerging markets, and an entirely new product. I was sent on an 8-week secondment to New York to ensure streamlined processes across international offices, training to new hires and support for the operations team when the VP of operations left. Working with large brands including, Yahoo, Ford, Agent Provocateur, Guinness, and Virgin. I was solely responsible for all online advertising through multiple campaigns for this viral marketing agency ensuring all regulations and budgets were adhered to. I managed clients YouTube channels including copy writing to VSEO standard, Uploading, annotations/cta's, comment moderation, analytics and audience development, and YouTube promoted videos. Using Google Adwords, Yahoo Advertising, and Microsoft Adcentre I was in control of all search marketing driving traffic to social media sites. As part of our service I also managed our Facebook advertising.I found and built relationships with multiple affiliate companies aiding us reach large targets and achieve "Youtube Honours" and first page appearances for the content we were seeding. I dealt with all advertising through online gaming environments. I built an understanding of online currency used in promoting online interaction through social gaming sites including Facebook. I dealt with other traffic generating companies including mobile phone TV channels and blogs/university websites.
Corporate Events and Hospitality Apr 2005 - onwards I was responsible for business growth, client liaison and management, effective event organisation, account management, client awareness, tailoring the event to the client's requirements and delivery to tight time targets and budgets. Whilst being freelance I have worked on a number of different events and projects from production and delivery of large corporate events and incentive schemes to smaller bespoke teambuilding days and Christmas parties. I also had a full time contract with the Corporate Entertainer Magazine and Bluehat UK. Being freelance has been excellent for networking and event awareness across the industry.
My longest running contract has been solely on-site event management, My responsibilities include comprehensive transferral of event info from sales teams, full logistics from vehicle hire and drivers to ensuring all equipment is loaded, full on-site management and staff management, keeping to time schedules, liaising with venues and clients, being responsible for multiple events on one night.
Brand development, web site traffic growth. Developed brand strategy and event marketing plan. Manage sponsor and media relationships. Develop sponsorship strategy and proposal.
Responsibilities included full pre event production and logistics together with close client liaison. Bespoking existing events to client's requirements, fulfilling facilitation needs, complete onsite event and staff management, pre and post event meetings internally as well as with clients, delivery to tight time targets and budgets. Dealing with more than one project at one time and prioritising my time. I formed a quarter of the Project and Event Management team for the first month and then one third for the two months that followed. We were solely responsible for turning the sales team's proposals into effective team building events. Bluehat UK specialise in Teambuilding Events which gave me a valuable insight into effective people and team management whilst still giving me the opportunity to nurture and develop my expertise in Event Management. Whilst in this position it enabled me to continue learning an increasing amount about my industry from competitors to clients. With tight deadlines and budgets, fluidity and professionalism were required at all times to ensure the smooth running of multiple events.
Exhibition attendance on behalf of the Publication, business development and identifying possible leads, liaison with clients, designers, journalists, editor and printers. Proof reading copy and organising logistics for the magazine production. Subscription magazine only so part of my role was also to monitor circulation stats. I managed customer feedback and serviced the Reader Reply cards.
Growing with the company and through a motivated approach, I fulfilled a number of roles within this company including Event Crew, Business Development Executive and Account Executive eventually progressing to Event Manager. Event Manager included logistics for staff, equipment and time management; communication so that the staff understood the venue and the equipment requirements; Health and Safety legislation adherence; staff training and assignment; staff rotation, ensuring the event ran smoothly and proactive trouble-shooting as to minimise any impact on the client and sustaining a good reputation for the events group. Upon Event completion, I was also responsible for ensuring the efficient load-out and equipment logistics whilst fully respecting the Clients premises. In my role as a Business Development Executive I was responsible for building a new client base as well as extending current client base by tailoring bespoke events, brainstorming within various teams to improve efficiency and creating new client events. Liaison with the Account Managers to put together a successful event, realising profit without compromising delivery to the customer. As an Account Executive my role included adhering to budget restraints, building events, liaising with the client and suppliers, ensuring a motivated team, achieving both revenue and delivery targets. In the Event Crew Team I was responsible for Health and Safety of the client and the client briefing, correct equipment set-up, staff awareness, proactively improving efficiency and safety, incident management, to entertain the client and involve the whole group so as to ensure that everyone left with smiles on their faces.
